CHANGING THE CONVERSATION. MAKING THE CHANGES.
As our industry continues to transform at pace, we continue to champion the diversity that strengthens innovation, helps win the war for talent, evolves our senior management structure. So we go beyond recruiting, training and retaining an engaged, skilled workforce to addressing issues such as the gender pay gap and inspiring young people today to see how they can become the senior management of tomorrow.
JLR signing the Race at Work Charter is a significant milestone, making us the first car company to be featured on the list. And already our commitment to diversity has created record numbers of female engineering apprentices joining JLR.

Young Professionals Network is a dynamic community empowering young professionals through development, representation, and peer support.
With the aim of driving a cultural change so young professionals feel empowered to own their careers and are capable of achieving anything.

The aim of our JLR Pride network is simple. To support and foster a safe and open working environment for all, and to promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity across JLR. We achieve this by supporting and speaking up for members of the LGBTQ+ community across our business. By being advocates and educating those who may not understand. By influencing policy to be more inclusive and ensuring JLR attracts and retains the best talent. And being a visible demonstration of JLR’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Wherever you work at JLR, you’ll find a huge range of groups and activities to get involved in. From networking events over breakfast, to evening sports and social clubs, you’ll find there’s something for everyone. And some you’ve never thought of! Helping everyone to perform at their best means supporting everyone to feel their best every day. We take this very seriously indeed and have a huge range of health and wellbeing programmes across the entire JLR network. From health and sports clubs to networking events.

Sarah joined JLR at just 16 years old through an apprenticeship programme. Today, she is a Programme Group Leader. Taj has dedicated 34 years to JLR and is now a Programme Chief.
Sarah shared how the Working Parents Network has been a game-changer for her, helping her find a work-life balance she never thought possible. These groups have given them a sense of community and a place to share experiences with others.
Both Mairi and Mutsa have been supported by JLR in different ways that shaped the careers they’re proud of today. From roles inside and outside JLR, they discovered a shared belief; that passion, drive, and support can take you anywhere.
