JLR signing the Race at Work Charter is a significant milestone, making us the first car company to be featured on the list. And already our commitment to diversity has created record numbers of female engineering apprentices joining JLR.

RACE, ETHNICITY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE (REACH)

Earlier this year, we proudly announced the merger of two trusted networks: REACH and ACH. This marked the beginning of a new chapter built on shared values, deeper collaboration, and a stronger commitment to the communities we serve.

We champion racial equality, empowering ethnic diversity within JLR as we progress towards becoming an inclusive business.

We are the leading voice for veterans and reservists at JLR. Open to all colleagues who advocate the armed forces.

We provide a network of support, advice and information to and for carers. Offering carers guidance and enabling them to value their feelings and needs, as well as the feelings and needs of those they care for.

We champion and celebrate equality and diversity by actively supporting of our disabled colleagues and carers.

We promote and facilitate a gender inclusive environment within engineering, so everyone can have equally enjoyable careers at JLR.

RISE SOCIAL MOBILITY NETWORK

JLR's DE&I network passionate about social equity and equality of opportunity for all.

Our ambition is to make a difference by helping our JLR colleagues to unlock opportunities which they may not have considered available to them. We aim to do this by generating awareness and encouraging conversations about social mobility and the opportunities available at JLR.

We celebrate neurodiversity (ND), inform and support staff about ND, and are a voice for ND within the business. We're a branch of the SHINE Network.

HINDU NETWORK

JLR Hindu Network was established with some focused aims, the network is and will continue to:

  1. Sharing values of Hindu Sanatan Dharma
  2. Support and Networking
  3. CAREER Development
  4. SEVA (Selfless Service)
  5. Cultural Celebrations

SIKH NETWORK

JLR Sikh Network was established with some focused aims, the network is and will continue to:

  1. Share values and philosophy of the Sikh faith within JLR to raise awareness of the Sikh identity
  2. Engage in Interfaith and Multi-Cultural dialogue to drive JLR’s growing DE&I agenda and share Sikh values aligned with the Creator’s Code
  3. Provide a platform for Sikh colleagues to pursue career development through mentoring and coaching with a goal to elevate Sikh colleagues in line with JLR’s DE&I objectives.
  4. Become actively involved with local communities through outreach to support vulnerable and disadvantaged communities

Young Professionals Network is a dynamic community empowering young professionals through development, representation, and peer support.

With the aim of driving a cultural change so young professionals feel empowered to own their careers and are capable of achieving anything.

A FOCUS ON… JLR PRIDE

The aim of our JLR Pride network is simple. To support and foster a safe and open working environment for all, and to promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity across JLR. We achieve this by supporting and speaking up for members of the LGBTQ+ community across our business. By being advocates and educating those who may not understand. By influencing policy to be more inclusive and ensuring JLR attracts and retains the best talent. And being a visible demonstration of JLR’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
