<p>Our undergraduates join the programme each year at the beginning of July. You should ensure that you are available to start on your set day with us, however if you foresee this being a problem, please contact us as soon as possible.</p>

<p>No, prior experience is not a requirement of our early career’s programmes - they are designed to be entry level routes. Bring your academic knowledge and skills, we’ll support your training and development.</p>

<p>You’ll have a Cohort Leader assigned to you who’ll support with your individual learning plan, whilst you’ll receive mentorship and support from your team to make sure you have what you need to succeed with us. There is also an Early Careers Community who run numerous social events and activities where you can meet, network and socialise with your peers. <br />

<p>You will have regular performance reviews with your line manager who will track your progress of your role within the team. Progress against the requirements of the Undergraduate programme will be measured by the Early Careers Programme Delivery Team Cohort Leaders.<br />

<p>Depending on your performance whilst on placement along with business need, it is possible to progress on to the graduate scheme – we are proud that many of our undergraduates do return and complete our graduate programme and are still growing and thriving within JLR today. <br />

<p>Our undergraduate programmes offer a direct pipeline to our graduate scheme for which we only sponsor skilled worker visas for shortage occupations which include electrical engineering, software engineering and creative (design).</p>

<p>Therefore, JLR will only accept applications for this programme from candidates who would have the right to work in the UK at the point that they would successfully convert to the graduate programme.</p>

<p>You should be on track to achieving a 2:2 level or higher. You should look at the Undergraduate programme that you are interested in to view the degree programme specific information required for each programme.  </p>

<p>Show us your passion and performance, and we may give you the opportunity to progress onto our graduate programme. You will not need to apply If you are returning as a graduate following the completion of an undergraduate placement with us.  <br />

<p>On an undergraduate placement, you may experience different areas of the business depending on business need. There are also opportunities for shadowing which will give you insights wider than your own job role. <br />

<p>Guidance is provided on the application as to the likely site where you will be located for the programme you have applied to. This will be confirmed to you at the assessment centre and on acceptance of your contract. <br />

<p>For a limited number of roles, we do require you to have a drivers’ license. For the majority of roles this is not required, however it could be of benefit to you. <br />

<p>There is no relocation assistance. There will be a requirement for you to travel to your site and, where relevant, education provider regularly and when requested, therefore consideration to your living arrangements should be given.  <br />
