<p>Our graduates join the programme each year in September. You should try, where possible, to ensure that you are available to start on your set day with us, however if you foresee this being a problem, please contact us as soon as possible. </p>

<p>We have a set of business behaviours at JLR which we call the 'Creators' Code'. These are a set of co-created behaviours to inspire understanding and collaboration. <p>JLR’s graduate programmes are not eligible for sponsorship and therefore, we will only accept applications for this programme from candidates with the unrestricted right to work in the UK for an indefinite period (if you are on a tier 4 student visa or a graduate route visa you are not eligible to apply to this programme).</p>

<p>You’ll have a Cohort Leader assigned to you who’ll support with your individual learning plan and there will be people in the business that will mentor you. There’s also an Early Careers Community social team who run numerous social events and activities where you can meet, network and socialise with your peers.</p>

<p>You will have regular performance reviews with your line manager who will track your progress of your role within the team. Progress against the requirements of the Graduate programme will be measured by the Early Careers Programme Delivery team Cohort Leaders. </p>

<p>Yes, graduates receive a yearly increase, provided that they meet the performance requirements. This will take place in Year 1 and at the end of the programme. </p>

<p>You will have or expect to achieve a 2:2 degree or higher. We are particularly keen to receive applications from students with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) background but more important than that is a passion for analytics and problem solving, the curiosity to understand a business problem and explore innovative solutions, the confidence to champion new initiatives, strong numerical skills and be an excellent communicator. </p>

<p>You may experience different areas of the business depending on business need. There are also opportunities for shadowing which will give you insights wider than your own job role. </p>

<p>Guidance is provided on the application as to the likely site where you will be located for the programme you have applied to. This will be confirmed to you at the assessment centre and on acceptance of your contract. </p>

<p>For a limited number of roles, we do require you to have a drivers’ license. For the majority of roles this is not required, however it could be of benefit to you. </p>

<p>As a JLR employee, you will be eligible for the Privilege vehicle lease and purchase scheme providing discounts on JLR vehicles. There is also a shuttle bus which employers can make use of, free of charge, which runs to Whitley and Gaydon locations. </p>

<p>In many areas of our business, hybrid working is possible. However, this is dependent on the nature of the work that you are doing and the team in which you are working. For all Early Careers hires we require significant in-person working to facilitate learning collaboration and a sense of belonging. </p>
