Our Reimagine programme is transforming every part of our business. It’s rethinking how we design and deliver the next generation of sustainable luxury cars and everything that goes into them. And its driving change and breaking new ground in every part of every process.

The world has recently entered a period of low stability and high unpredictability, creating new challenges for complex international supply chains like those in JLR's value chain. In reinventing our end-to-end supply chain capability and performance, our pioneering people are using advanced digital tools to bring together a global network of 1,000 suppliers in the most connected way possible to achieve one thing: delivering awe-inspiring vehicles on-time, flexibly and competitively. This has led to a huge revolution in thought and practise, with supply chain planning, resilience and sustainability now at the forefront of many of the most exciting digital innovations being developed. This complex ecosystem of new technologies and ideas creates fantastic opportunities for talented apprentices to learn fast, champion change and establish a career where you are challenged to think differently every single day.

As an Apprentice here, you get the benefit of both hands on career-building experience at the forefront of the automotive industry, and the opportunity to achieve a fully funded BSC (Hons) degree developed in conjunction with Aston University.

From day one, you’ll get the opportunity to make an impact on our supply chain and procurement teams, continuously design and execute innovative strategies and solutions to optimise the journey of our parts, and ensure we get the best value for the business.

The opportunity for both personal and professional development within the framework of a degree apprenticeship is unparalleled. Real-world experience combined with academic studies at the University of Warwick is, in my opinion, the best of both worlds. As an apprentice, we are trusted the same as any other engineer. We work and influence live programmes and are important members of the squads delivering the next generation of products. Seeing a vehicle you have worked on being cherished by customers is an amazing feeling!

My manager and I have weekly check ins to check I’m okay and that I am managing university work and normal work; I also have regular check ins with my mentor. Everyone I’ve ever spoke to at JLR has always been willing to help, whether they were in my team, if I knew them or not.
